I use this old fashion pie dough in all my savory pies and tarts, it is so good.
It is crispy, a little bit sweet, and I just love the texture.
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cornmeal #250
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup cold butter, diced
Mix all the dry ingredients with the cold butter in a food processor, until the butter is well incorporated and forms little chunks, a little bit like bread crumbs.
Add the butter milk gradually, form a ball with the dough, cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate.

1/2 tasse de beurre froid, coupé en dés
